 Wednesday 10 February 2020: There is a war between UN back forces and a middle eastern country over Weapons of Mass Destruction and fuel imports from the Middle East are dramatically curtailed, leaving Australia with 80% less fuel than it consumes. The servos that are open are selling fuel at $9.99/litre, but most are closed because they just don’t have any fuel. In protest, Sydney motorists are parking their “almost-empty” cars and trucks on the Sydney Harbor Bridge & walking away. The City cannot remove the vehicles because their fuel supplies have been curtailed by the federal government to prioritize fuel stocks for the Australian Defense Forces. Sydney is grid-locked, the nation’s commerce is halted, grocery stores are only selling non-perishable products and the Australia is proposing a Governmental Guillotine for its failure to read the handwriting on the wall and prepare for the day when Australia ran out of fuel. Wednesday 10 February 2010: If action is not taken now, Australia will be almost entirely dependent on oil imported from some of the most volatile parts of the world for our transport and security needs within 10 years. |

 After nearly 3 years, The Biodiesel Station will no longer be supplying Biodiesel and Biodiesel blends to Franks Auto in Marrickville. As the memories of Sydney's New Years Eve Celebrations were still fresh in the minds of most Sydney-siders, the management of Franks Auto & The Biodiesel Station met to discuss the future of Sydney's First Biofuel Station. The relationship has been good for both parties, but, as often occurs on a journey, the road into 2010 had split at a fork. It was time for the two parties to take their separate paths.
Franks Auto will continue to sell Biofuels; offereing E10, B5, B20 & B100. As of last week, National Biodiesel was delivering Soy Biodiesel & Manildra Park the E10 to the station at 73 Marrickville Road. TBS wishes Frank, Bill, and Pete the best of luck in the future, and congratulates them on their dedication to biofuels since April 2007. Having first opened in that location in January 2006; it was a difficuklt decision, but a prudent one for TBS, and one that will lead to a new location sometme in the near future. My sincere thanks to all of you that have been TBS Supporters and Customers. TBS will continue to supply B20 to its growing list of Customers with Bulk or In-Vehicle refueling requirements. |
