Bio Truck Route Well not exactly. But a team in UK has produced the first diesel vehicle to run on chocolate waste. Ecotec, who is pioneering the expedition has named its chocolate diesel truck "BioTruck."The BioTruck team will be departing from the UK on Friday the 23rd November from Poole harbour in the UK for the 4500mile expedition to Timbuktu . The journey will be powered entirely on biodiesel made from waste chocolate in a unique process pioneered by Ecotec. The sweet smelling diesel has been assessed by independent experts at CarbonAided who state its manufacture and use emits just a tenth of the carbon footprint of fossil diesel.
